About Me
Hi, I'm Stephen Styles - Thanks for visiting!
I'm a Chicago native and currently reside in Fort Wayne, Indiana. My 25+ year career has included over a decade of progressive leadership in Chicago's hotel business including senior roles with IHG and Hilton.
I later helped build a nonprofit organization that brings high quality music instruction to thousands of students in Chicago public schools that can't afford music teachers.
For several years I served as an inter-cultural learning specialist, presenting across the country with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the largest mainline Christian denomination in the United States.
My current and former clients include CEOs, civic leaders, nonprofit organizations, small business owners and pastors.
I hold a Master of Arts from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago with a research emphasis on racial justice and ecumenism (Christian unity), and a certificate in faith-based community organizing.
I'm a husband, father, and life-long musician. Professionally and in my spare time, I serve as an advocate for the arts, racial reconciliation, youth violence reduction, and community development.
One of my unique, God-given gifts, is the ability to offer nuanced reframing of sensitive topics in a way that leads to clearer understanding, healing of rifts, and greater cohesion.
