About Me
Hi, I'm Stephen Styles - Thanks for visiting!
I'm a Chicago native and currently live in Northeast Indiana.
My career began more than 25 years ago in Chicago's hotel business where I held senior leadership roles with IHG and Hilton.
I later helped build a nonprofit organization that brings high quality music instruction to thousands of students each year in Chicago public schools that can't afford music teachers.
In 2012, I began contract work as an inter-cultural learning specialist, presenting across the country with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the largest mainline Christian denomination in the United States.
Since launching in 2019, I've been trusted by CEOs, civic leaders, nonprofit organizations, small business owners and pastors to provide insights and solutions that make a difference and reshape culture.
I hold a Master of Arts from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago with a research emphasis on racial justice and ecumenism (Christian unity).
I'm a husband, father, writer, and a life-long musician.
Professionally and in my spare time, I serve as an advocate for the arts, racial reconciliation, youth violence reduction, and community development. I do this through offering free community lectures, curating arts events, mentoring and board service.
One of the unique gifts God gave me is the ability to offer nuanced reframing of sensitive topics in a way that leads to clearer understanding, healing of rifts, and greater cohesion. I'd be honored to connect with and support you and your team's growth and positive impact.
