I’m Stephen Styles—a follower of Jesus who believes that through Him, all things are possible.
I help organizational and community leaders navigate complex conversations around race, faith, strategy, and culture. My work focuses on helping leaders move from tension to clarity, strengthen trust, and make decisions that lead to meaningful, measurable outcomes.
My background spans hospitality leadership, nonprofit arts education, faith-based community organizing, and racial justice work. Over more than a decade in Chicago’s hotel industry, I worked my way into leadership roles overseeing large teams and multi-million-dollar operations across Hilton, Marriott, and other leading hotel brands. Later, I helped grow a nonprofit music initiative that expanded arts education access for thousands of young people across Chicago’s South Side.
I’ve worked with faith organizations, political leaders, corporate clients, educators, and community institutions, including the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Sweetwater Sound, and the National Black Musicians Coalition.
My formation includes formal training in faith-based community organizing and a Master of Arts in Racial Justice and Ecumenism.
Whether through workshops, keynotes, cohort experiences, or advisory support, my goal is to help leaders pursue meaningful transformation with wisdom, clarity, and practical skill.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two children, serving in my local faith community, and making and experiencing live music as a lifelong drumming musician.
Based in the Midwest, I work nationwide—virtually and in person.
